Built around a large-format 1/1.8" 8MP sensor, it captures 3840×2160 resolution at 30fps and pairs built-in IR LED illumination — extending night vision to 40m (131ft) — with visible LEDs for dual-mode illumination. A dedicated Quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor handles on-camera AI inference for face recognition, license plate recognition (LPR), and smart detections covering people, vehicles, and animals.

The black (B variant) polycarbonate and aluminum alloy housing carries IP66 weatherproofing and IK08 vandal resistance for reliable operation in demanding outdoor environments. Two-way audio enables active deterrence and remote communication, while a MicroSD expansion slot adds local edge storage redundancy alongside cloud and NVR recording options through UniFi Protect.

Powered by PoE+ (42.5–57V DC, max 20W), the UVC-AI-TURRET-B supports ceiling, arm, wall, pendant mount, and junction box installations with an included pigtail cable assembly for clean cable management. It ships NDAA-compliant, making it suitable for government and enterprise deployments. HDR image processing, 2DNR/3DNR noise reduction, and motion-based NR further enhance image quality in challenging lighting and low-contrast conditions.
