AXIS Q1602-E Outdoor IP Security Camera 0438-001
The AXIS Q1602-E Surveillance Camera is an outdoor-ready bullet device with day/night functionality. This rugged bullet camera is ready to install in harsh outdoor environments thanks to IP66-rated housing. It operates in extreme temperatures as cold as -40° F, and also features an integrated dehumidifying membrane. AXIS Q1602-E offers a dual shell technology, where an internal shell stores heat in cold environments. A fan ventilates the air in hot environments, where the heat is transferred to the outer aluminum chassis for efficient cooling. Equipped with a 1/3" RGB CMOS sensor, it delivers clear and crisp images in extended & D1 (768x576) resolution and Light finder technology that reduces noise and brings true to life colors, even in lowlight. For clear, crisp images of even fast-moving objects, the Q106-E features progressive scan.
For video compression, this network camera transmits multiple streams in H.264 and MJPEG video formats at either full frame rates or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints. Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection, and active tampering alarm. The camera supports an open Application Programming Interface for software integration, including the ONVIF specification for interoperability between network video products. Included with this AXIS Q1602-E Surveillance camera is a High PoE that allows power to be routed over the same Ethernet cable used to communicate data. This eliminates the need to run a separate power cable to the device, saving time and labor costs. Additionally, it has an SD slot for on-board storage of the recorded footage.
Key Features:
- Progressive Scan Technology: & delivers blur free images at 30 fps
- Light Finder Technology makes the camera extremely sensitive to low light, effectively allowing it to ‘see' colors even in poor-lighting conditions
- Backlight Compensation: & adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object is in front of a bright light source
- White Balance Feature: & adjusts the red, green, and blue colors taking a standard white reference to get clear images
- Day & Night ICR Function: Switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting
- Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): & describes an attribute of an imaging system that can record greater scene details, from shadows to highlights than normal
