Hikvision specializes in IP and HD-TVI technologies. What separates Hikvision from other brands is mostly their all inclusive box video recorders. When security camera systems are built with these recorders, PC based server extra cost such as Windows operating system license is no longer necessary. Hikvision still offers free VMS called iVMS-4200 or paid VMS Software called HikCentral Professional.
